How do I connect RISR to my DAW?
Download RISR Link for your Mac or PC from the download page. Connect your iPhone via USB or Network MIDI. RISR Link will appear as a MIDI input in your DAW.
Which DAWs does RISR work with?
RISR works with any DAW that accepts MIDI input: Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Cubase, Reaper, FL Studio, Pro Tools, Bitwig, and more.
Do I need RISR Link?
Yes. RISR Link is the free companion app that bridges your iPhone's motion data to your DAW as MIDI. It's available for Mac and Windows.
Does RISR work with Apple Watch?
Yes. RISR includes an Apple Watch app that provides wrist-based motion control. Pair your Watch with the iPhone app to use it as an additional motion source.
What MIDI messages does RISR send?
RISR maps motion axes (roll, pitch, yaw) to any MIDI CC (Control Change) messages. You configure which CC numbers to use and customize the response curves.
Is my data private?
Yes. RISR does not collect analytics, track usage, or require an account. All data stays on your device. Read our privacy policy for details.
What are the system requirements?
RISR requires iOS 16 or later. RISR Link requires macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later, or Windows 10 or later. Apple Watch support requires watchOS 9 or later.
